askFact City

Fact City is natural language query software like Ask Jeeves, but the difference is its scope and its reply. Ask Jeeves handles questions like, "What's the best way to make a peach cobbler?" with aplomb -- not always helpfully, but with aplomb. Fact City is more designed for "hard facts" answers, like, "What is the population of Canada?" And while Ask Jeeves will give you several questions to which it knows the answers and lets you choose the one closest to your question, Fact City gives you one answer. Alas, I went to Fact City to see if I could try it out ( http://www.factcity.com/ ) but the demo is password protected.
