A reader writes in to recommend meta-search engine Ixquick ( http://www.ixquick.com/ ). Ixquick meta-searches news, MP3 directories, and the Web. Interesting thing about it is that it awards one star for each search engine that places a site in its top ten, so you get relevance-upon-relevance ranking.
