AltaVista Launches Italian version

AltaVista has launched an Italian version of its Web site at http://www.altavista.it/ . The site is, of course, in Italian, and claims to index about 95 percent of the Web sites in Italy. See the press release at: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/000411/ca_altavis_1.html
