Browsers A Go-Go

Right on the heels of The Microsoft Situation comes a ton of browser news. The 2nd beta of Opera 4.0 is online at http://www.opera.com/download.html .. Get the list of known Opera browser "issues" at http://sue-sims.nu/opera/resources/40-issues.html before you download and install the beta. Aaaaand the beta of Netscape 6 launches today; there are two Webcasts that at least marginally concern the event at http://www.corp.aol.com/cgi/netscape/webcast.html .... oh, heh, look at that, it's already available on the Netscape site at http://www.netscape.com/download/ .. Remember, both these products are beta (or in Netscape's case, prerelease) so don't download these and install 'em unless you're comfortable fiddling with software, restoring an imploded hard drive (heaven forbid) etc.
