SmartEngine Meta-Search Debuts at Internet World

SmartEngine -- http://www.smartengine.com/ -- is a new meta-search engine that offers metasearching in the following categories: web, auctions, images, and audio. They also offer a search of the SmartGuide, which looks to be a repackaged Dmoz database. The front page is nicely designed and the engine is fast. However, a couple of things could be improved. The categories for the SmartGuide are scattered above and below the search box, which makes it hard, at first, to zoom in what you're looking on. You also can't choose what engines to include in a meta-search, which is a handy feature that many search engines offer.
