Question: What's New in Searchable Subject Indexes?

One of the things I like about Yahoo is that you can search for items added to the list within a certain number of days. Yet I do not see a way to do this with a couple of other searchable subject "biggies," LookSmart and Dmoz.org. Am I missing something, or looking at new additions to the directory not possible with Dmoz or LookSmart?
