Spell Check Your Searches Before You Submit Them

SearchSpell ( http://www.searchspell.com/) will spell-check your queries before you submit them to an engine. Once checked, it'll provide you with possible spellings and also provide you with filled in search forms for several different engines.

This is a smart idea, especially if you are searching for medical terms that you may easily misspell. SearchSpell caught hydrocefalus, hidrophobia, and aneemia. After you enter a word, it gives you its suggestions with a clickable hyperlink that takes you to dictionary.com's definition of the word. On the left side of the result screen are several prefilled search form, allowing you to continue your search without moving off the site. Still a little kludgy, a little slow-loading, still in beta. But a nice idea. Worth a look.
