InfoGrid Claims an "Indexed Map of the Internet"

An interesting change from the regular Yahooesque index is the new InfoGrid from R. Lee Heath ( http://www.infogrid.com ). The grid provides a single page of top-level links, with the top-level links leading to single-page coverage of a single topic. While the layout is intriguing, I find the medium-blue on an off-white background, with small fonts, sometimes difficult to read. If you're looking for a kid-safe 'grid, check out KidGrid at http://www.infogrid.com/kidgrid.htm .

Because everything is folded into this small layout, this is not a comprehensive searchable subject index (though the links I reviewed were quality and a lot of ground is covered here.) However, if you can't find what you need there are a variety of meta-searches at the bottom of the page, including Web, newswires, etc. I don't understand the "search Google metasearch" at the bottom of the screen, since Google is not a metasearch engine. I suspect that's a regular Google search box.

I would change the font color and make it a little larger. But it's worth a look.
