August 10, 2000KinderStart Search Engine Covers Many BasesKinderStart ( http://www.kinderstart.com/ ) is a new directory designed "for information about pregnancy, birth and the wide range of issues related to children six years and under." The top level of the site contains 16 categories, which divide into several subcategories including such unexpected categories as genealogy and museums (KinderStart casts a wide net.) Each listing has a place where you can review comments and ratings, or post a rating/comment of your own. Site annotations were spotty; some were thoroughly described while others were just given a sentence. Still: nicely designed, a lot of stuff here. Worth a look.
