New LOC Collection: Band Music from the Civil War Era

The Library of Congress has announced a new collection, "Band Music from the Civil War Era," at http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/cwmhtml/cwmhome.html .

The collection contains 700 musical compositions, with 8 full-score modern editions and 19 recorded examples of performed brass band music. The collection also integrates photographs and drawings from several other LoC collections.
