AltaVista Launches Portuguese and Brazilian Sites

AltaVista Announced yesterday the launch of AltaVista Brazil ( http://www.altavistabrasil.com.br ) and AltaVista Portugal ( http://www.altavista.pt ). AltaVista Brazil will index 1.25 million pages of local content. The AltaVista Brazil site will index nearly eight million pages of local content.
