December 28, 2000Go to the Dogs for Your VacationWant to go on vacation but don't want to leave Rover behind? Check out http://www.dogfriendly.com , which allows you to discover places to go that will welcome both you and your dog. There's a dog-friendly hotel section that covers both the US and overseas (listings include address, phone number, Web link when available, and often information on the additional cost for a pet's stay.) There are also city guides, which gives information on a variety of dog-friendly spaces, including parks, restaurants, and accommodations. This list of city guides is nowhere near comprehensive so don't expect to find every city in the country on this list. There's a ton of stuff for California, though -- so much that it has a separate list. If you've never traveled with your dog before, this site will offer some basic information, including air travel tips, quarantine information, travel etiquette, and more. An interesting niche; worth a look. Posted to Culture-Pets | TrackBack
