Roller Coaster Database of Love (Say What?)

The Roller Coaster Database ( http://www.rcdb.com ) has information on over 650 coasters. The page stats off with information on a random coaster and a menu on the left side of the site. You can do a simple keyword search (on coaster or park) or an advanced search on coaster, tree view, park, or location and distance. "Tree View" does not mean actual trees, it's more of a geographical browse of coasters around the world. (The location and distance seems to be US only -- all the coasters within x miles of x zip code.)

The actual coaster advanced search is a series of pull-down menus allowing you to specify coaster type, status, state, country, park, etc. You don't have to fill out all the information -- you can get a list of all coasters in Tennessee, for example. The results page gives the name of the coaster, the park, the type, the status, and the year it was opened. Clicking on the coaster name gives you a variety of stats on the coaster, broken out into demographics, statistics, vehicles, and other information. Not all coasters have a complete set of information. Some coasters have pictures with them. Kewl. Worth a look.
