April 09, 2001Google Slips Date for Group FeaturesIt'll be a little later than expected for posting access through Google Groups (http://groups.google.com). Both that feature, and access to the full five years' worth of postings originally in the Deja archive, are now estimated to be available on May 1. A Google groups spokesman said that Google had to "adjust their engineering priorities" to focus on some short-term issues, namely infrastructure-related details. Live hyperlinks inside message postings have been activated, post results may now be sorted by either date or relevance, and there advanced search interface has been tweaked. Stay tuned.
