Most movie information sites provide information from the consumer's viewpoint -- they're concerned with who the actors and actresses are, etc.

SoundSpeed Movie Database at http://www.soundspeedmovie.com/database/ , approaches movies from a different perspective. It's a database of movies' production information. You can search by production name, personal name, or view all the productions (unfortunately, only about 90 productions are currently listed in the database.)

Information includes film type, shooting format, language, director(s), production company, sound crew, sound recording format, etc.

Hopefully more productions will be added over time. Worth a look.
