October 10, 2001Repertorium ChronicarumRepertorium Chronicarum http://www.chronica.msstate.edu/ is a bibliography of Latin manuscripts chronicling the Middle Ages. It includes the locations of manuscripts and works documenting medieval public events, event narratives, and histories. Most of the documents date from early in the fourth century until the latter part of the fifteenth century. The best way to search the extensive list documents is with an author drop-down box located on the Chronicles page. (The drop-down box is located at the bottom of the framed page. While you're browsing through that drop-down box, the middle page will still be loading a very long file. So when you find the name you want and hit search, there might be a brief delay.) Location listings provide the city, library and date of each manuscript. The collection includes are translations of some works into Latin, but not translations from Latin into other languages.
