December 26, 2001NCAA Tourney StatisticsIf you're into college sports, check out SportsStats at http://www.sportsstats.com/. This site doesn't give you win-loss statistics, but instead provides scores from tournament games. On the front page you'll need to pick a sport (twelve are provided, both men's and women's.) Then input a school name. Ambiguous names work -- searching for "Minnesota" provided me with four school options. Pick a school and you'll be provided with their tournament scores, from oldest to newest. (The database goes back quite a way -- Indiana's score listings start at 1940.) If you're looking only for a specific year or group of years, use the advanced tournament search. With that you can narrow your search to a range of years and even to particular rounds of play (quarterfinals, semifinals, etc.) It would be good to space out the results a little on the search results -- put some spacing between the last score and the next tournament year listing -- but this is a unique collection of information. Worth a look. Posted to Entertainment-Sports
