December 26, 2001Stapler Information SiteYou know, staplers! Those ubiquitous office tools that you see so often you don't really look at them anymore. Well, most people don't look at them, but at http://www.calcampus.com/stapler/index.htm you can find a guy who takes a great interest in 'em. What a site! After reviewing the parts of a stapler and the history of stapling (which goes all the way back to the 1700s!) you can browse through information for four different stapler manufacturers (and a "misc stapler" section.) Information includes company history, a list of models, and information about standout models including images. The miscellaneous staplers section contains information on the first patented stapler (from 1866) and information on a type of stapler that sold for over $750 on eBay. If you're grooving on these staplers, don't forget to check out the exhibition at the Early Office Museum -- the main page is at http://www.officemuseum.com/staplers.htm. Don't forget to use the link at the bottom of the page to check out all the different kinds of vintage staplers available. Posted to Business-Tools
