Yahoo Launches Music Property

Yahoo has launched Yahoo! Launch. No, wait, I lied; in fact it's called LAUNCH, Your Yahoo! Music Experience, (hereafter referred to as LYYME) and it's available at http://launch.yahoo.com.

Built on Yahoo's acquisition of LAUNCH Media, LYYME offers a lot of music content in a lot of different formats. The sites is set up in a tabbed format, with tabs for Internet radio, music videos, artists, styles, and songs. Unfortunately my ability to explore this site is limited, as every attempt to bring up a media window was answered with "Sorry, we only support Netscape and Internet Explorer."

Still, there is non-multimedia to be found here as well, including music news, photo galleries, lyrics, and downloads (as opposed to streaming multimedia.) Worth a look if you're into music.
