Yahoo Teams up With Consumer Reports

Yahoo announced this morning that they're teaming up with Consumers Union, publisher of Consumer Reports magazine and ConsumerReports.org. Yahoo has integrated free buying guides and pay-per-view product ratings from Consumer Reports into Yahoo Shopping (http://shopping.yahoo.com/). You can browse the guides currently available at http://shopping.yahoo.com/co nsumerreports. You can get a basic overview of a category free, or buy the whole report for 30-day access. All the ones I looked at were $2.95.

Yahoo has also integrated Consumer Reports auto buying guides into Yahoo Autos (http://autos.yahoo.com/). You can go straight to the Consumer Reports for cars at http://autos.yahoo.com/consume rreports/. Yahoo noted in their press release that they're working with Consumer Reports to integrate buying guides into other areas of Yahoo, but didn't go into specifics.
