Rock Art in Arkansas

The Arkansas Humanities Council and the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program have gotten together to create the Rock Art in Arkansas site at http://rockart.uark.edu/ .

This site contains a variety of information related to rock art (works of art carved and painted onto rock) around Arkansas. There's a database of 150 rock art elements (more are being added each week; I wish the pictures were a little larger) rock art resources (lesson plans, activities, bibliography, etc.) a place for articles and technical papers (don't see any there yet) and a photo gallery (divided by category -- human figures, nature images, etc --pictures still too small.) Plenty to see here.
