March 11, 2002Search the Physics WebPhibot, at http://phibot.org , offers a couple of Web searches -- one is a full search of 150,000,000 Web pages, and the other is a search of five million pages devoted to physics. The search is a little different from what you might expect. It's on the left side of the screen. You choose what you want to search by picking a radio button (physics search, science search, etc.) A search of the physics Web for "inertia" found almost 1800 results. Trying to fool the search engine with inappropriate searches didn't work well -- searching for "roller coaster," for example, found six pages -- all about the physics of roller coasters.
