March 08, 2002University of Tennessee Announces Six Digital ProjectsThe University of Tennessee has announced the first six projects of the UT Digital Library Center. You can visit the Digital Library Center at http://diglib.lib.utk.edu/dlc ; there are pages for the projects listed below but there's not much available yet. The projects are: * Images of the Flora of Tennessee - Includes images of 400 woody plants in the state. * The History of Women at the University of Tennessee * Images from the History of Architecture and Landscape Design - Includes about 1,200 images from rare books in UT libraries. * The David Van Vactor Collection - Music manuscripts and recordings from the UT music department and Knoxville Symphony, 1942-1979. * Type Specimens in the Tennessee Fungal Herbarium - 900 specimens. * Radiological Veterinary Medicine Teaching Collection - Teaching materials used in the study of radiology.
