LLRX and SurfWax Team Up

LLRX and SurfWax have teamed up to offer a search engine for the Law-Lib discussion group, which has searchable messages back to 1992. You can access it at http://makeashorterlink.com/?D5B125EA .

SurfWax, if you remember, offers "site snaps" -- quick summaries of found pages. This works pretty well with archived messages. And since the archive is so huge, being able to browse results and and summaries of results 25 a time is cool. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any way to search by date, which would be helpful.
