A Directory for Making Things

Are you the artsy-craftsy type? Check out Make Stuff (

You can search by keyword on this site, but the category browse works fine too. Categories include Kid Stuff, Recycling, and Formulas, Remedies, and Concoctions. There are all kinds of projects here, from the expected (yes, I figured I could make a mobile from old CDs) to the unexpected, (no, I did not figure I could make a drop spindle for spinning wool. I also didn't know the formula for glow in the dark ink or how to make scented rocks.)

Plenty of interesting stuff here. Plenty of potentially dangerous stuff too -- I don't think I'd let any kids make glow in the dark ink as a rainy-day fun project. Read the instructions and disclaimers carefully.
