New Zealand to Release Census Information

Wired is reporting ( http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,52487,00.html ) that New Zealand will release census information at the end of the month. The information will be released at Statistics New Zealand ( http://www.stats.govt.nz/ ) and will include 300 databases of information and census data from 1991 and 1996.

Actually there's already some cool stuff here. The front page has a quick snapshot of population and unemployment rate, and the site has its own population clock. There's also a demographic profile of New Zealand, social trends in New Zealand, and bunches of newsletters. Worth a browse.
