May 30, 2002Photoshop Information In One Huge CollectionI'm not a Photoshop nerd; I'm a Paint Shop Pro nerd. But it was still fun to browse through the materials at Photoshop Roadmap ( http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/ ). This site contains more than 500 Photoshop tutorials, information on tons of add-ons (plug-ins, brushes, etc.), and more. Starting with the tutorials. They're located at http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/photoshop-tutorials-tips.html . Tutorials are listed in several categories, including illustrations techniques, interface design, text effects, and scanning. Newest tutorials are listed at the top of the page, and all tutorials are described at least briefly. It's important to note that these are links -- not all tutorials are hosted at the site. The add-ons are in a couple of different places -- a plug-ins page lists topics available at the top of the page with featured plug-ins further down the page. Plug-ins, like tutorials, are described at least briefly -- unfortunately the listings don't make clear whether each item is freeware, shareware, or commercial; apparently all three are represented here. The download page contains brushes, plug-ins presets, vector shapes, layer styles, etc. There's also a free newsletter available. Lots and lots of stuff here. I wish the text size was a little bigger. Worth a look. Posted to Computing-Software-Specific
