Beach Volleyball Database

Feeling left out by all the World Cup hoopla because you're not into soccer? Fear not and check out the Beach Volleyball Database at http://www.bvbinfo.com/ , your source for all things beach volleyball (men's and women's.)

The front page provides database statistics, "Today in Beach Volleyball History," upcoming tournament information, and the latest news. The top of the page gives you several different ways to search the database, including players, tournaments, and seasons. Search results for players include name, country, home town, date of birth, and height. (not all information is available for all players.) Click on the name of the player and get a page of information on the player, including career summary, best finish, and sometimes a photograph.

Also available on this site are a timeline of beach volleyball history (it goes all the way back to 1895!), tour news (via a drop-down menu at the top of the screen), and a list of player birthdays.
