Digitized 18th Century Books

I'm a little late on this one. The Gale Group announced last month a project to digitize nearly 150,000 English-language titles published between 1701 and 1800. Called The Eighteenth Century, this project should make the titles online beginning in June 2003.

Materials will released in phases. The first release will be History and Geography, in mid-2003. After that there will be Literature and Language, Social Science, Religion & Philosophy, Science, Technology & Medicine, Law, and Fine Arts & Reference.
