Got a kidlet? Got a safety seat for them? Want to make sure your safety seat is properly installed? Go to http://www.seatcheck.org/ . This site will give you a list of places, searchable by state or zip code, where you can get your child's car seat checked. If an exact zip code match is not available, you'll get a list of stations within a certain number of miles of the zip code.

Information about the station includes name, address, phone numbers, and contact person. Some of the stations are available only by appointment, while other ones offer Spanish translations. Also available on this site is a list of car seats which have been recalled, downloadable brochures and tips about car seat safety, and a version of the site in Spanish.
