New Zealand Launches Poisons Database

There's now a poisons database for New Zealand available at http://www.toxinz.com/ . And though it does have a subscription option (two levels of subscriptions are available) its free option allows you to search for information on 60,000 toxic products.

Choose the Search option from the top of the main page. You'll have the option to search for name, keyword, or phonetic spelling. A keyword search for "acid" found over 1050 results. Search results include a list of toxins. Clicking on the name of a toxin provides the chemical name of the toxin and first aid for ingestion, eye exposure, skin exposure, and inhalation.
