US Naval History Sources in the US

The Naval Historical Center has updated their 1979 US Naval History Sources in the US with an online guide. The guide's available at http://www.history.navy.mil/sources/ .

The front page of the site has a list of US states on the left. (Not all states are hyperlinked; about ten aren't.) Click a state and you'll get a list of institutions and repositories in that state. Click on one of those and you'll get information on the naval holdings of that institution. For example, the University of Oklahoma, has about seventeen archive sets somehow related to naval history. Contact information is provided about the institution, as is a
description of each archive set.
