October 21, 2002Pencil Pages For the Pencil Fan In YouDid you think pencils were just plain bits of wood and graphite without much inherent interest at all? HA! And again I say HA! (I shouldn't write these things so early in the morning.) Pencil Pages ( http://www.pencilpages.com/ ) has several sets of information and links of interest to the pencil fan. First check out the pencil image gallery, which besides individual pictures (the world's oldest pencil, the world's largest pencil) there are also gallery pages for pencil companies, including Eberhard-Faber, Eagle Pencil Company, and American Pencil Company. Don't know that much about pencil companies? Check out the worldwide list of pencil manufacturers, from AAA Benekana International to Xonex (the list is divided into two sections: active and defunct companies.) There's also a set of pencil links on this site (all on one page, divided into sections) as well as pencil classifieds (quite busy) pencil humor, and pencil FAQs. Interestin'! Posted to Wacky
