State of Missouri Adds Navy to WWI Database

Back at the beginning of June I covered the state of Missouri's online database of WWI service records. At the time it covered Army and Marine personnel. Now over 18,000 United States Navy cards have been added to the database.

The search is at http://www.sos.mo.gov/ww1/D efault.asp . The search format is lastname, firstname, and you have the option of searching all service records, Army/Marine only, or Navy only. Results include name, rank, address, and where served. It looks like the Navy results are returned as a PDF file -- a little difficult to read, but not much -- while the Army/Marine results are returned as HTML files. Lots of information here.
