October 09, 2002Yahoo Announces Earnings TodayYahoo is announcing earnings after the close of business today, and I'm just slopping over with questions about some changes I've seen in Yahoo lately. Is the question of whether Google will provide Web site results finally be resolved? What's the deal with this new story rating feature? (You can now view stories with the highest or lowest reader ratings -- see http://personal.news.yahoo.com/us/news/categories/901/index.html ) How come when you do a search you get sponsored and Web site listings but you don't get Yahoo Directory results? Is the "Powered by Google" tag gone or am I missing it? What's up with the new Advanced Web Search ( http://search.yahoo.com/s earch/options? ) and Advanced Directory Search ( http://search.yahoo.c om/search/options?&h=c )? If there's not a lot of news with this earnings call I'm going to be really surprised. And if there is you'll get it tomorrow. Posted to Search Engines-Yahoo
