Directory of Desalination Institutions

The Online Desalination Directory, at http://www.desline.com/ , is an international listing of institutions and individuals who are working to remove salt from water so that it can be used for drinking, agriculture and other activities. The Directory includes more than 13,000 entries searchable by individual surname and institution name, country or keyword.

Searching for all companies in Brazil found three results. Information for each company listings include address and phone number, Web site if available, and methods/technologies.

In addition to institutions and individuals, the site provides an extensive list of events planned for well into 2005 and 2006. Events listings include the meeting location, the organization sponsoring it, which issues will be focused and contact information for more details.

Finally, this site also has a Publications and Publishers section with links to newsletters, reports and proceedings as well as information about books on water. Lots to see here.
