Finding Censuses (Censii?)

I knew there was a lot of census information online, but I did not know there were over ten thousand links to free census information online. Census Finder ( http://www.censusfinder.com/ ) has found 'em and brings 'em to you.

.. on an amazingly busy front page, I must note. From the top of the page you'll see drop-down menus that allow you to choose by state in the US, location in the UK, or from a variety of Native American censuses. Further down the page you'll see census listings from Canada and Norway, as well as a list of new sites. Even further down you'll find a pull-down menu to get county maps for each state, a historical museum guide, and some spotlight sites -- old bibles for sale on Ebay, defunct counties, and a guide to reading old handwriting.

I chose Vermont from the US states drop down menu. The page I got back presented 18 census links along with a brief history of Vermont's statehood. Census links were for both the entire state and for individual counties. On the left of the page you'll find how to get vital records for the state of Vermont, map links, and related links. Other states which have more records (like Georgia) have their census links listed across several pages.
