The front page provides you with a Yahooesque category listing, with categories including Pharmaceutical, Biology, and Careers. Each category has at least a couple of subcategories underneath, though those aren't all the subcatgories -- from what I saw this site has a great tree of sub, sub-sub, etc categories.

Annotation is for the most part good, and you have the option to rate a link you're viewing or send it to a friend. To rate a site, or even add a site, you'll need to register (registration is free and requires only a username, password, and e-mail address.)
