ECU Unveils Online Pearl Harbor Document Collection

East Carolina University has unveiled an online collection of Pearl Harbor documents online at http://www.lib.ecu.edu/SpclColl/showcase/ .

The site is divided into several sections, starting with War Begins and ending with Looking Back. Each section contains an introduction to the period, and then a list of items related to that section. For example, the "First Reactions" section has 29 items. Clicking on the item name provides the transcript or image or excerpt or whatever it is. Items I found included telegrams, photographs, handwritten letters (both they and the telegrams had transcripts) and transcripts of interviews with survivors of the attack.

A link at the left side of the site allows you to search by keyword, or if you like you can browse a complete list of the items available.
