AlltheWeb Changes Look, Updates Offerings

AlltheWeb ( http://www.alltheweb.com ) has "retired" its skin contest winners and is offering some new skins. I'm annoyed. I *liked* that medieval skin. But no matter. There are several other skins that you can use with the search engine, and as always you can use your own custom sheet.

In addition, AlltheWeb is now offering "URL Investigation." Enter a URL and AlltheWeb will return a variety of information, including how many external pages link to that site, how many pages are indexed by that domain, who owns the site, etc. There's even a link to the Wayback Machine so you can see what a set of pages used to look like. Whee!
