Community College Directory

The Community College Web at http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/cc/contains over 1300 community college sites and almost 200 related resource sites. It's a framed site, but oh-so-searchable!

The searching/browsing resources are on the left frame of the screen. From here you can search by area (country/state/province), browse alphabetically by first letter of college name, or search by keyword in college name, location, or Web address.

Keyword searching for community colleges with "springfield" found nine results, listed alphabetically. Search results provide just a listing of college locations, names, and URLs. Click on the college name and -- surprise! -- you're going to go right to the Web page. There's no additional information about the colleges on this site outside of the search results page.

Also check out the related resources page at http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/cc/index2.html. Here you can list all the resources (there are 185 of them), search by keyword, or list them by category. Annotations here are for the most part very good though brief in some cases.
