June 05, 2003HayNet's For HorsesIf you're into horses, you might enjoy the directory of links at http://haynet.net/. However, the directory is structured a little differently so it may take you a visit or so to get used to it. This directory is not set up so that all the categories are visibly on the front page. Instead the top of the page has "Featured Listings," which I think are sponsored links. The bottom of the page has "Horse Health News." So where's the link directory? It's in the middle of the page in two drop-down menus. on the left menu you can choose a list of categories from Accounting to Welfare/Rescue organizations, while on the right you can choose a location -- from Alabama to Wyoming, with plenty of countries dropped into the list. Resources are listed in alphabetical order (it looks like these resources might have a capacity or "featured listings" as well.) There are a lot of listings with offline contact information here -- annotation varies a lot, but is mostly okay. Posted to Science-Zoology
