July 31, 2003All Your Gobase Are Belong To UsIf you don't know too much about the game of Go, you'll find yourself enlightened after visiting gobase.org ( http://gobase.org ), which contains a variety of information about the game. If you're a complete Go amateur, like I am, you may want to start with the rules page, which explains how Go is played. From there you can go on to reviewing the database of about 30,000 professional Go games. You can also check out the over 1000 player biographies. Some players have games in the database. In addition to the games and the players you'll also find news at this site, as well as articles, Go schools on the Internet, Go stories and proverbs(!) and, of course, a link list. Go players will of course get far more out of this than I did, but I found it interesting. Posted to Entertainment-Games | TrackBack
