Foreign Films

Foreign Films (http://www.foreignfilms.com/) is, as you'd expect, a Web site about foreign films, but there's plenty of extra stuff too. Current news is listed down the middle column. In the right column, you will see what is new in theaters, recent DVD releases and the top searches.

There are several ways you can browse the movies on this site; by country (Australia to Yugoslavia), genre, or language. You can also search the movie titles and cast/crew by keyword.

A keyword search for "emperor" found six results. Results include the name of film, date of release, and country. Clicking on the record gives additional information including plot summary, language, run time, ranking score from reviewers, an illustration. Not all information is available for all movies -- the more recent ones seem to have the most information. On the left side of the movie's page, there are Web links to the movie as well as links to movie reviews.

In addition to a search engine for films, this site also has a top 100 films list, lively message boards, a brief link list, and an Amazon-generating shopping area. Worth a look.
