Full Text Search of Math Books Now Available

A virtual collection of more than 2,000 volumes of mathematical material is now available at http://mathbooks.library.cornell.edu/ . (Wow, first home economics and now math. Go Cornell go!)

This archive is fully searchable. From the home page you have the option to search through the Cornell Book Collection, the Gottingen Historical Math Book Collection, The Michigan Historical Math Book Collection, or all of the above. A series of drop-down menus allow to limit your search to author, title, abstract, and full text.

A search for "calculus" across all text found 66 results, listed fifteen to the page. The search result page includes name of the author (with year of birth and death), hyperlinked title of the document (they are not all in English) and date document was written. Click on the document's title and you'll get both the option to view the full document or the option to view the pages which contain your keyword (GIF files.)
