New Versions of Opera, Mozilla

Opera last week announced their latest beta version: Opera 7.20. You can read the press announcement at http://www.opera.com/pressreleases/en/2003/08/28/. New features here include support for bidirectional languages such as Arabic and Hebrew.There are a variety of other changes, such as implementation for (WHY??!) and a variety of toolbar and mail client fixes/upgrades. Bear in mind that this is a beta. The newest stable version of Opera is 7.11.

Meanwhile, Mozilla has the 1.5 beta, available at http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.5b/ . Changes to this new release include a spellchecker for MailNews and Composer and an overhauled chat client. Like Opera 7.20, this is a beta; the newest stable version of Mozilla is Mozilla 1.4.
