The Encyclopedia Of Monsters

It doesn't look like it's been updated in a while, but there's still plenty to see here. The Encyclopedia of Monsters ( http://webhome.idirect.com/~donlong/monsters/monsters.htm" ) offers information on a variety of mythical beasts, from Abatwa to Ziz.

The front page of this site is divided into frames. The left frame contains a little news about the site, while the right frame contains the list of monsters. Click on a monster. You'll get a description in the left frame. Some descriptions (Phoenix) are extensive and have illustrations, while others (Rompo) are quite short. There's some cross-linking within the entries as well. The site is a bit moribund, but it's interesting.
