September 01, 2003Weather.com Adds Historical Weather FeatureWeather.com has added a new feature called Yesterday's Weather, to make it easier for visitors to find historical weather information for a given city. Yesterday's Weather isn't in a separate section; instead it's available in each page containing a local forecast. We'll use 90210 as an example. From the front page ( http://www.weather.com ) plug 90210 into the local forecast box. You'll get the local forecast for 90210, and a link to Yesterday's Weather for that area. The link will contain yesterday's high and low, the average high and low, the high and low records, the high and low for the last seven days, and the high and lows for the month to date. If you scroll down a little further you'll see a place to get hourly reports for the last seven days, and towards the very bottom of the page you'll see the extremes for the day you've chosen -- the wettest, hottest, and coldest spots all over the country.
