Blogging north of the border? BlogsCanada ( http://www.blogscanada.ca/ ) is a directory of over 6700 Canadian blogs arranged by category.

The site looks a bit strange in Opera but fine in IE. From the front page choose "Directory." You'll get a list of 25 categories, from Arts & Humanities to Uncategorized. Click on a category (the items underneath the categories are NOT subcategories, they're 'blog listings) and you'll get a list of blogs with their location, description (most of the time) and ratings (when available.) Click on a 'blog title and the location itself will open up in a new window.

In addition to the directory, this site also has news about weblogs, resources related to weblogs, and a nicely-done monthly list of top Canadian Weblogs.
