South African Genealogy Helper

I've done a lot of pointers to genealogy resources in America, but I don't remember doing one for South Africa. Well, I'm doing one now. Heather's South African Genealogy Help List ( http://www.genealogy.co.za/ ) is an extensive list of resources for those searching for South African genealogy resources.

The front page has an alphabetical list of resources from 1820 Settlers to Zimbabwe Gen Web, with most of the resources pretty well annotated. But there's also a list of categories at the top of the page that goes to individual pages. Categories there include Military & Shipping, Church Registers, and and a Surname Interest List. Some of the information is available on the site and some of it is available offsite. Lots, lots to see here.
